CBS is stepping on Nepal's toes

What is wrong with CBS? It reports that the Internet is shut down in Nepal according to the recent news. I am totally unaware about this and strongly believe it to be untrue.

I agree @kalewakids in that there should be some guideline for building structures. Hopefully there is some guideline to recognize structures with high EQ risk also.

I think the criteria that @kalewakids is referring to is interesting and perhaps even critical to mitigating risks posed by EQ to schools. I was watching with amazement and wondering why Nepali's have not been able to market this nature's gift to us. Here is the article. There was only one comment, which said there are no words, only WOW.. I totally agree.

I think the poll question is similar, and yet they are different. I think allowing a political affiliated organization within an academic institution is a totally different proposition from allowing students to be involved in politics. But then again, its just my two cents.

I agree, @afisara. I think WikiLeaks is just an instance of freedom of press. Therefore, whether or not any government (A or B) responds depends on its foreign policy, in this case. Yep, I also heard that these artefacts are very expensive. From the images, they look very intricate and fine. I did not see prices though. Also, there is an artist from outside of Nepal.. I think from New Zealand. Very interesting.
