Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal & Nepal

Postby Ganesha » Mon Nov 15, 2010 12:10 am

The prince is on a three day visit to Nepal where apart from his regular business, he is walking on the streets. He is the 19th richest man in the world and has been a very successful investor. Needless to say, if he wants, he can significantly change the economic landscape of the country. However, it remains to be seen as to what initially created the interest to visit our country currently suffering from eighteen hour load shedding and what his business plans are. Is he here because of the success of Spice Cell, now called Ncell? Is he here because he wants to invest in the hydro sector? Or he is here to create some sort of enterprise to broker deals between China and India, as Nepal is so naturally well positioned for? Any other ideas? - nepali forum

"Mother and motherland are more precious than heaven." But that does not mean we must cling to our mothers. The least I can do for Nepal is to bring awareness among the Nepali people. And this Nepali forum is the platform for me.
