If you remember, the Indians married five star hotels with cheap medical services and opened the gates for something called, Medical Tourism and have never looked back since. When you get to read the New York Times with a heading which blares, "Next Stop - Pokhara, Nepal, Becomes Nepal’s Top Yoga Destination", I feel this is something that Nepali entrepreneurs should really be looking into.
In these times of a glut of hotel rooms, stagnant growth in tourist arrivals and the youths leaving the country in droves, setting up a well organized Yoga Center could be an extremely viable business. And the good thing is, as the article points out, the idea has already been tested and is bearing fruits. Young Nepali entrepreneurs, are you listening?
