An effort to ALL of Nepal's festivals. Please mention the name and a line or two describing it and that should suffice.

Here is a list of those that we already have about festivals:

1. Introduction to festivals
2. christmas
3. ghode jatra
4. new year
5. gai jatra
6. teej

7. Maghi - A Nepali festival celebrated by the people of Tharu community. Hear a lot of home made alcohol is consumed.

10. Dumji: I have heard this is the festival of Sherpas. Perhaps someone can add.

11. Indrajatra for Kathmandu residents
12. Bisket Jatra for Bhaktapur residents
13. Rato (Seto) Matsyendra Nath Jatra for Lalitpur (Kathmandu) residents
