Is there anything called Nepaliness? If there is, what constitutes it?

We may not appreciate kings and landlords today, and rightly so, but we must appreciate their original purpose as protectors in society. Now you may wonder what in the world is this guy talking about? Well, all this background is to say that like it or not, we must appreciate the vision that Nara Bhupal Shah had for Nepal... a vision of a single united Nepal. It was his vision that transformed an angry young man into the Prithvi Narayan that he became. Now remove all the characters, Prithvi Narayan & Nara Bhupal and the events and the remainder is what defines Nepalis.. a vision of unity, a culture of tolerance, potential of growth, a spirit of endurance.
"Mother and motherland are more precious than heaven." But that does not mean we must cling to our mothers. The least I can do for Nepal is to bring awareness among the Nepali people. And this Nepali forum is the platform for me.
